Indian Navy Takes Part In World's Largest Exercise In US, Plays War Games With Other Navies
Indian Navy's P81 aircraft takes part in US Navy's joint military exercise RIPMAC
The Indian Armed Forces have taken part in several joint exercises and have received good feedback from its counterparts. That is obviously something that we, as Indians can be proud of.
The Indian Navy had been invited to take part in the Rim of Pacific Multinational Naval Exercise(RIMPAC) in Hawaii. This is the first time the Indian Navy has participated in this joint exercise.

RIPMAC is the largest maritime exercise hosted by the US Navy, where it invites various countries from around the world.
P81, Indian Navy¡¯s long-range reconnaissance aircraft from INS Rajali has taken part in RIMPAC-18, thus making it the first ever aircraft to go so far east into the Pacific.

It has also achieved several other milestones by taking part in the exercise.
It also became the first Indian Navy aircraft to cross the International Date Line(0 degrees longitude), and took the longest ferry of almost 3300 nautical miles from Guam, a small island under the United States, to Hawaii.
This year, RIPMAC is hosting 26 nations, who will undertake tactical exercises that include Anti Submarine Warfare and Maritime Reconnaissance missions.
The training will focus to make the internal functioning between different sections of the Indian Navy better.
