Mild Earthquake hit Jammu And Kashmir, Epicentre Near Srinagar
An earthquake which measured 21 on a Richter Scale struck Gurugrams Haryana at 1300 hours on Monday - June 8. The epicenter of the earthquake was 13 kilometers West-Northwest of Gurugram. The waves were felt in the national capital - delhi as well.
Mild earthquake which measured 3.9 on the Richter Scale hit Jammu and Kashmir at 8.16 am on Tuesday - June 9.
The news confirmed by the National Center for Seismology confirmed that the epicenter of the earthquake was Srinagar which is situated 15 kilometers North-Northeast at the depth of 10km.

The Disaster Management Department of Jammu and Kashmir government informed that epicentre of the earthquake was recorded to be near Srinagar.
"An earthquake of magnitude 3.9 occurred at 8:16 am, with epicentre at 34.21N, 74.85E, located 7 km South-East of Ganderbal and 14 km North of Srinagar," stated the Disaster Management Department of Jammu and Kashmir.
