A wedding of two frogs arranged by farmers seeking rainfall, is performed at Shitla Mata Mandir Rameshwari in Nagpur on Thursday June 12, 2014. The event was orgnaised by Vidarbha Kisan Samiti in the hope to please rain gods so that the region would receive monsoon showers soon. People blew trumpets and sang songs, as the priest solemnized the marriage with the usual Hindu marriage rituals, even putting streaks of vermilion on the female frog's head as is done with brides.
