Pahalgam terror attack: Mukesh Ambani offers free care at Mumbai hospital, says ¡®terrorism is enemy of humanity¡¯

Just two days after the deadly terrorist strike in Jammu and Kashmir¡¯s Pahalgam area, Reliance Industries chairman Mukesh Ambani has stepped forward to help the injured. In a statement, he announced that all victims of the April 22 attack will be treated free of cost at Reliance Foundation¡¯s Sir HN Hospital in Mumbai.
Ambani expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives and extended his condolences to the families affected. The attack, which claimed 26 lives, including both residents and tourists, has left the nation shaken.
Reliance Hospital in Mumbai to offer free care
Mukesh Ambani assured that the injured would receive complete treatment without any cost at their Mumbai hospital. His statement, shared by ANI, quoted him as saying, ¡°We wish speedy and full recovery to all those injured in the attack. Our Reliance Foundation Sir HN Hospital in Mumbai will offer free treatment to all the injured.¡±
He emphasised that the Reliance family is standing in complete solidarity with the nation during this difficult time. He added, ¡°I am joined by everyone in the Reliance family in mourning the deaths of innocent Indians in the barbaric terrorist attack in Pahalgam on 22nd April, 2025.¡±
Ambani backs government¡¯s fight against terror
In his message, Ambani firmly condemned the violence. He stated, ¡°Terrorism is an enemy of humanity. It must not be supported by anyone in any manner.¡±

He also extended his full support to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the government¡¯s action against terrorism. ¡°Reliance family fully stands with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Government of India and the entire country in the decisive battle against the menace of terrorism,¡± he said.
PM Modi vows severe action against attackers
On the political front, PM Modi addressed the nation from Bihar¡¯s Madhubani on April 24. He reassured citizens that those behind the brutal incident would be held accountable. He said, ¡°India will identify, track and punish every terrorist, their handlers and their backers.¡±
He further warned, ¡°These terrorists and those who conspired towards this attack will get a punishment bigger than they can imagine. The willpower of 140 crore Indians will now break the back of the masters of terror.¡±
The Prime Minister also thanked global leaders for their support, underlining that India¡¯s commitment to justice will not waver.
