Gauri Khan has once again showcased her design prowess by revamping the office of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), the Indian Premier League (IPL) team owned by her husband, Shah Rukh Khan.

Gauri shared a series of photos on Instagram, including a snapshot of herself in the newly decorated office. "The new Kolkata Knight Riders' office has the elements that are decorative and functional... and all things cricket #gaurikhandesigns," she captioned the post.

The office masterfully blends neutral tones with warm hues, perfectly accented by the team's signature purple. This celebration of KKR's identity weaves team jerseys, cricket equipment, and official merchandise into the design, creating a true fan's paradise. The walls proudly display the team's numerous IPL trophies, while the sleek white interiors are adorned with touches of purple and gold, reflecting the team's iconic colors.

2024 has been a remarkable year for KKR, as they clinched their third IPL title by defeating Sunrisers Hyderabad in a one-sided final. With this victory, KKR added the 2024 title to their previous wins in 2012 and 2014, cementing their status as one of the most successful teams in the league.

Gauri Khan's diverse career

Gauri Khan co-founded Red Chillies Entertainment with Shah Rukh Khan in 2002, where she serves as co-owner and producer. The production house has released several hit films, including "Om Shanti Om," "Main Hoon Na," "Student of the Year," "Happy New Year," and "Dear Zindagi."

In 2011, Gauri and Sussanne launched the Charcoal Project Foundation. In 2013, Gauri founded her own design studio, Gauri Khan Designs, in Mumbai. The studio has garnered a reputation for luxurious and elegant design, with Gauri spearheading the interior design of various celebrity homes and collaborating with international artists.

Her interest in interior design began with the renovation of their Bandra residence, Mannat, which has become a popular tourist spot. She later pursued interior design professionally, partnering with her friend Sussanne Khan.

Gauri has designed numerous spaces, including the Mumbai restaurants Arth and Sanchos, and homes for Bollywood stars like Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar, Malaika Arora, and Ananya Panday. She also designed Alia Bhatt's vanity van.

Earlier this year, Gauri ventured into hospitality by opening Torii Mumbai, a restaurant in Mumbai. She gave a tour of the new eatery, adding another feather to her cap in her multifaceted career.

Gauri Khan's family & life

Gauri Khan was born on October 8 and raised in a Punjabi Hindu household. She finished her education in Delhi, where she also received her BA in history from Lady Shri Ram College. Additionally, she enrolled in a six-month program at the National Institute of Fashion Technology focused on fashion design.

Gauri met Shah Rukh Khan in Delhi when she was just 14 and he was 18. Their romance blossomed despite her parents' initial disapproval. At one point, Gauri moved to Mumbai with friends without informing Shah Rukh, prompting him to follow her and win her back.

They married on October 25, 1991, before Shah Rukh's Bollywood career took off. The couple has three children: Aryan, 26, who launched a luxury streetwear brand last year; Suhana, 24, who debuted in Zoya Akhtar's "The Archies" on Netflix; and AbRam, 11, who attends school in Mumbai.
