Watch: Serbian musician drops hit track featuring Novak Djokovic's Wimbledon speech
Novak Djokovic reached the Wimbledon semi-finals after his quarter-final opponent, Alex De Minaur, withdrew due to a hip injury. ??
A notable trend that has time and again made its appearance on the internet is creating music from random dialogues or speeches of renowned personalities from the worlds of politics, sports, or entertainment.
Though this is a long-running trend, it was taken to the next level in India by YouTuber Yashraj Mukhate during the COVID-19 pandemic. After Mukhate produced the viral mash-up ¡°Rasode Me Kaun Tha", many other sound engineers nationwide followed suit, composing unique remixes featuring celebrity dialogues.
'Banger' from Siberian composer
Now, a similar video from a Serbian music composer has emerged online. The musician has apparently created a ¡°banger¡± by sampling the post-match speech by seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic. An account named Global Dissident on X (formerly Twitter), shared a post featuring this clip and it went viral in no time.
Novak Djokovic is racing towards his eighth Wimbledon title this year, which will make him match the record held by tennis legend Roger Federer. Following his win against 15th-ranked Holger Rune in a fourth-round match, Djokovic addressed the fans who seemingly ¡°booed¡± him during this high-octane clash at Centre Court.

"Have a goooooood night" pic.twitter.com/zLCshMC7H1
¡°To all the fans who have had respect and stayed here tonight, I thank you from the bottom of my heart and I appreciate it. And to all those people that have chosen to disrespect the player ¡ª in this case me ¡ª have a goooooooood night,¡± the Serbian tennis legend said.
But the most striking part of his speech was the elongated, sarcastic ¡°Good Night¡± which was apparently directed towards his critics. Subsequently, this phrase was picked up by the music producer as the hook for his dialogue-laced music.
He added lively beats to Djokovic¡¯s speech and emphasised the word ¡°boo¡± in the viral track. The creator also incorporated random dance clips of Djokovic from archival footage to enhance the music video.
