Israeli Army Denies Reports Of 40 Babies Beheaded By Hamas At Israeli Kibbutz

The Israeli army has rejected the reports that said 40 Israeli children were beheaded by Hamas. The spokesperson for the Israeli Army told Turkey's Andalou news agency that they have no information confirming allegations that ¡®Hamas beheaded babies¡¯

Earlier, it was reported that at least 40 babies were beheaded at an Israeli kibbutz.

What happened?

Hamas terrorists slaughtered at least 40 babies and young children ¡ª beheading some of them ¡ª at a kibbutz near the Gaza border, shaken Israeli officials and reporters at the scene said Tuesday.

¡°It¡¯s hard to even explain exactly just the mass casualties that happened right here,¡± visibly distraught i24 News correspondent Nicole Zedek said during a broadcast.

As per reports, just a few days ago this was the sleepy, scenic 'paradise-like' Israeli farming community of about 750 people. Now it's become a nightmare covered with soot, blood and battered limbs after Hamas gunmen burst out of the Gaza Strip and reduced the village to rubble, with no mercy for human life.

Where and when?

The mass killing took place at Kibbutz Kfar Aza near Sderot about a quarter-mile from the Gaza Strip on Saturday. A Kibbutz is a communal settlement in Israel, typically a farm.

How did the carnage come to light?

Several soldiers were called up for reserve service, and had arrived already expecting the worst, but the scenes were beyond imagination.

Some soldiers say they found babies with their heads cut off, entire families gunned down in their beds. About 40 babies and young children have been taken out on gurneys so far, i24 News reported. Troops went door-to-door to collect the bodies of residents killed in their homes.

"Mothers, fathers, babies, young families killed in their beds, in the protection room, in the dining room, in their garden," Israeli Major General Itai Veruv said on Tuesday.

"It's not a war, it's not a battlefield, it's a massacre," IDF Major General Itai Veruv said. He added, "It's something that I never saw in my life...We used to imagine our grandmothers and grandfathers during the pogroms in Europe. It's not something that we have seen in recent history".

Meanwhile, at least 1,000 Israelis and 900 people in Gaza have been killed and over 2,616 people were injured after Hamas launched a barbaric 'surprise attack' on Israel on October 7.
