In an unconventional and bizarre love story, 39-year-old Brazilian woman Meirivone Rocha Moraes has redefined the meaning of love, proving that it knows no bounds. Moraes fell head over heels for a homemade ragdoll named Marcelo, lovingly crafted by her mother to console her single daughter.

What began as a whimsical creation soon blossomed into a deep and genuine affection, culminating in a wedding ceremony attended by around 250 guests.

However, she also acknowledged the challenges that come with parenthood, including increased expenses for necessities like clothes, food, medications, and rent. Moraes and Marcelo embarked on a love-filled honeymoon in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, following their wedding.
Couple welcomed ragdoll twins
Their bond continued to strengthen, and on May 21, 2022, they celebrated the birth of their son, Marcelinho, with approximately 200 people via live stream. Recently, the couple announced that they were expecting twins again, as per the report.
Describing her married life with Marcelo, Moraes emphasised the joy and fulfillment she finds in their relationship. According to her, Marcelo is the perfect partner, always understanding and devoid of arguments or fights.
"Marcelo is a great and faithful husband. He is such a man that all women envy him," she added.
In a previous event, Moraes hosted a gender reveal party for their second ragdoll child, which garnered widespread attention on the internet. Pictures of the ceremony showed the couple holding a smoke bomb that turned pink, indicating the gender of their baby girl, Marcela.
Moraes also shared updates on her pregnancy, revealing that the baby was due to be born in December.
Moraes expressed frustration over criticism regarding her relationship
Despite the happiness she finds in her unconventional family, Moraes expressed frustration with skeptics who question the authenticity of her relationship with Marcelo.
Addressing criticism in a report by Mirror, she stated, "It makes me so angry. I am a woman of character, and my father and my mother taught me to be honest, to be a good person, and not to take advantage of anything."
