Israel每Palestinian War: IDF Claims Full Control, Over 1,500 Bodies Of Hamas Militants Recovered
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Tuesday said that it has "more or less" restored full control over the border fence. IDF spokesman Lt. Col. Richard Hecht said that 1,500 bodies of Hamas militants have been found in Israel around the Gaza Strip.
Four days since Israel came under an unprecedented attack by Hamas militants, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) on Tuesday said that it has "more or less" restored full control over the country's boarder.
"Looking towards the south, we have more or less restored full control over the border fence. Hopefully in the next few hours, it will be final," IDF spokesman Lt. Col. Richard Hecht said.

He also said that 1,500 bodies of Hamas militants have been found in Israel around the Gaza Strip.
"Approximately 1,500 bodies of Hamas (fighters) were found in Israel around the Gaza Strip," Hecht said.
"Since last night we know that no one came in .. but infiltrations can still happen."
The army had "nearly completed" evacuation of all the communities around the border, he added.
Hecht said the military had deployed 35 battalions to the border area.
"We are building infrastructure for future operations," he said.
Gaza turned into pilei of rubble
Meanwhile, Israeli warplanes on Tuesday pounded downtown Gaza City, home to Hamas' centers of government, with relentless bombardments.
The Israeli military said it struck hundreds of Hamas targets in Gaza*s City Rimal densely populated neighborhood, an upscale district of Gaza City that's home to Hamas ministries, as well as universities, media organizations, and the offices of aid organizations.
Operation Iron Swords
Israel launched Operation Iron Swords on Saturday, October 7, in response to the unprecedented rocket and gun attack carried out by Hamas inside the country.
At least 900 people have died in Israel and more than 2,300 others have been injured by the surprise attack on the day of Simchat Torah, a Jewish holiday
Israel said that Hamas and other militant groups in Gaza are holding more than 150 soldiers and civilians snatched from inside Israel after the attack caught its vaunted military and intelligence apparatus completely off guard.
Hamas threaten to kill hostage
Israel*s foreign minister, Eli Cohen, said the country is committed to bringing the hostages home and issued a warning to Hamas, which controls Gaza.
※We demand Hamas not to harm any of the hostages," he said. ※This war crime will not be forgiven.§
Hamas has also said it seeks the release of all Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails 〞 some 4,500 detainees, according to Israeli human rights group B*Tselem 〞 in exchange for the Israeli captives.
Hamas on Monday had threatened to kill captured Israelis if attacks targeted civilians without warnings
Siege of Gaza
In response to the attack, Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared war on Hamas and said that air strikes in the besieged Gaza Strip were ※just the beginning§ and vowed to do ※everything for Israelis held captive.§
Israel Defence Minister Yoav Gallant said he planned to cut off supplies of electricity, food and fuel to the Palestinian enclave.
※We are fighting human animals and we act accordingly,§ he said.
