New ChatGPT-Like AI Model Will Predict Your Life: Here's How It Will Work
Ever thought about what the future holds? Maybe you've considered visiting an astrologer or palm reader, hoping they could decipher life's mysteries and forecast your destiny. Well, in Denmark, researchers are working on an AI model that aims to do just that¡ªpredict your life and even tell you when you will pass away.
Ever thought about what the future holds? Maybe you have considered visiting an astrologer or palm reader, hoping they could help you make sense of life's mysteries and forecast your destiny. Well, in Denmark, researchers are working on an AI model that aims to do just that¡ªpredict your life.
What is the AI model built to predict life?
The project, named life2vec, aims to harness artificial intelligence (AI) alongside data sourced from numerous individuals to predict various milestones throughout one's life, including even the end.
This model is capable of forecasting diverse life outcomes, such as the timing of an individual's passing, by analysing the chronological sequence of events within their lives.
Remarkably, it boasts a 78% accuracy rate in predicting mortality and a 73% accuracy rate in forecasting relocations to new cities or countries.
The researchers focus on predicting early mortality among individuals aged 35 to 65. They use data spanning eight years, from 2008 to 2016, to project whether an individual may pass away within the subsequent four years.
This model demonstrates superior accuracy in predicting mortality compared to any other algorithm they have evaluated it against.
How will the AI model predict life?
Sune Lehmann, a professor at the Technical University of Denmark and co-author of a study, clarified that their system is created to make various forecasts about individuals' lives. It gathers data from health-related occurrences like fertility, obesity, or cancer risk, as well as factors like financial prosperity.
AI model to predict life similar to ChatGPT
The system operates much like ChatGPT.
The research team is using the same technology found in language-processing algorithms, such as those in ChatGPT, to analyse and forecast human life events.
They view an individual's life as a sequence of events, such as birth, schooling, relocation, and marriage.
The researchers have mentioned that their software is currently restricted and not available to the public or other researchers.
The life2vec model utilises anonymous data from approximately six million Danish individuals, supplied by Statistics Denmark.
