You can also format text with headings, subheadings, bold, italics, strikethrough, indentation, numerical, and bulleted lists.
Challenging traditional media norms, Elon Musk-led X unveiled 'Articles' on Friday, introducing a novel means of sharing extensive written content on the platform.
Premium users subscribing to X services now have the privilege of crafting and posting articles adorned with stylized text, embedded images, and videos.
Only for Premium+ subscribers and Verified Organisations
According to a company statement, "Articles is a new method for sharing long-form written content on X. This feature is exclusively available to Premium+ subscribers and Verified Organisations and can be accessed globally."
In addition to text, articles can incorporate images, videos, GIFs, posts, and links. Users are granted the ability to format text using various styles such as headings, subheadings, bold, italics, strikethrough, indentation, numerical, and bulleted lists.
Audience controls
The company said, "Once published, an article can be read and shared by anyone on X based on the audience controls you've chosen for the article."
To compose an article, users can navigate to the Articles tab in the side navigation on x.com, click 'write,' and then hit 'publish' when ready.
The published article will be accessible on the user's profile within the Articles tab. Notably, post-publication edits and even the option to delete the article altogether are provided, as stated by the social media network.
