She was fatally wounded but reportedly continued to battle Russian forces when most of her unit had been killed.

Olga Semidyanova was a mother of 12 children, six of which were adopted. The medic had served in the military since 2014 and was killed on the border between Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia oblasts on March 3.
According to Semidyanova, was hit in the stomach during a fierce firefight.
The distressed family is still waiting to bury her as the body is yet to be recovered due to the ongoing battle.
Semidyanova who lived in the city of Marhanets which was about 150 miles away from where she was killed, leaves behind 12 children, including six of them who were adopted.

¡°She saved the soldiers to the last. We have photos from the place of death ¡ª but due to heavy fighting we still can¡¯t bury my mother,¡± her daughter Julia told The Sun.
She had previously been awarded the title Mother Heroine, given to mums who have more than five children.
Anton Gerashchenko, an adviser to the country¡¯s Interior Ministry, said: ¡°She was slain in a confrontation with Russian thugs.
¡°Even when she believed her regiment might not survive, she emphasised her desire to protect the country until the end. She is a national hero. She is a hero to me.¡±

Military #medic #OlgaSemidyanova died in battles with the Russian occupiers in the area between Donetsk and Zaporozhye regions.Together with her husband,she went to the front since the beginning of the war in Dobas,where she did not leave the hot spots.

The fighting has led more than 3 million people to flee Ukraine, the U.N. estimates. The death toll remains unknown, though Ukraine has said thousands of civilians have died.
Amid the vast humanitarian crisis caused by the war, the Red Cross has helped evacuate civilians from besieged areas and has delivered 200 tons of aid, including medical supplies, blankets, water and over 5,200 body bags to help ¡°ensure the dead are treated in a dignified manner."
