The 2024 Pakistan election on February 8 has drawn global attention due to allegations of cheating and delayed result announcements.
Pakistan's Army chief commended the nation for conducting the polls well, emphasizing the importance of stability, while the US and UK expressed concerns about the election process. A clear winner has yet to emerge despite nearing completion of vote counting, raising concerns about a potentially rigged election.
Both Imran Khan of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf and Nawaz Sharif of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) claim victory. Still, neither has enough votes for a decisive win, suggesting a possible divided outcome.

AI-generated audio-video of Imran Khan
According to news agency PTI, Imran Khan, the imprisoned former Prime Minister of Pakistan, released an AI-generated audio-video message on Saturday, proclaiming victory in the general elections while criticising PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif as "stupid".
The message was posted on the official X account of his party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf. In it, Khan congratulated the people of Pakistan on the election results and expressed his trust in them. He firmly believed that people would vote in large numbers and commended his supporters for maintaining their trust in him.
As reported by The Express Tribune Pakistan, an anti-terrorism court (ATC) granted bail to Khan and his close aide Shah Mahmud Qureshi in 12 cases related to the May 9 attacks on military installations. ATC Judge Malik Ejaz Asif granted bail to PTI founder Khan after he fulfilled a surety bond of Rs 0.1 million in all 12 cases, which included the attacks on the General Headquarters (Pakistan Army) and Army Museum.
