Pakistani actor Saba Qamar and singer Bilal Saeed have been booked for blasphemy by the Lahore Police for allegedly "violating the sanctity" of a mosque where they shot a music video, as per a report in India Today.

Saba and Bilal shot a video inside Lahore's Wazir Khan Mosque. A small clip went viral on social media and those in the religious and political circles were far from impressed.
Many online users demanded that blasphemy charges be brought on them.
As per media reports, the complaint was filed by Advocate Sardar Farhat Manzoor Khan on August 13.
According to Section 295 of the PPC, the FIR pertains to "offences relating to religion", "injuring or defiling place of worship, with intent to insult the religion of any class", and "deliberate and malicious acts intended to outrage religious feelings of any class by insulting Its religion or religious beliefs".
Meanwhile Saba took to Twitter to clarify about the video and also apologise for hurting any sentiments. Here's what she said:

'Qubool', which is the name of the video, came out on August 12, but these scene was taken out. Saba and Bilal have reportedly been granted interim bail by Lahore's session court.
Blasphemy is taken very seriously in Pakistan. In fact there is a chance of being sentenced to death if someone is found guilty of insulting Islam.
