Two Indian Pilots From Mumbai Among Three Killed In Canada Plane Crash
The plane crashed near the local airport in Chilliwack, approximately 200 kilometres east of Vancouver, in British Columbia on Saturday.
In a tragic incident, three persons, including two trainee pilots from India, were killed when a twin-engined light plane crashed in Canada, on Saturday, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) said.
What happened?
The two young trainee pilots were killed in the small twin-engined light aircraft - a Piper PA-34 Seneca - which crashed. The pilots who have been killed are 25-year-old Abhay Gadru from Vasai and Yash Vijay Ramugade from Santacruz.

Why?
The cause of the crash involving the Piper PA-34 Seneca, a twin-engined light aircraft, remains unknown.
On Saturday morning, Gadru¡¯s family got a call from Canadian authorities informing them about the crash. Gadru is survived by his parents and a younger brother.
Gadru¡¯s childhood friend Gaurav Goel said he left India in 2021 for commercial pilot licence training. ¡°He was to complete his 200 hours¡¯ training in Canada after which he planned to return to India,¡± Goel said.
"His brother, Chirag, has also been studying in Canada since last year. Authorities in Canada have not let Chirag see Abhay's body yet, and he has been told that he will be given Abhay's belongings on Sunday," Goel said.
Gadru¡¯s family originally hails from Kashmir and has been staying in Krishna Vandan Society at Evershine City.
Personal details about Yash Vijay Ramugade are still unknown.
