The project was undertaken by Veterans Community Project - a local non-profit organisation that takes care of such issues.
Each tiny house inside the villages takes about $10,000 to produce, making the village space- and cost-effective.
The village includes near about 50 such homes, each one about the size of a studio apartment.
The houses are constructed in a way to promote camaraderie amongst the people who're staying here, making them less isolated.
The veterans can live here for free and live for as long as they want to.
The house come with a tiny bathroom and functional kitchen which they can get replenished when they need.
Having their own space will give them a sense of privacy, security, and comfort.
The houses comes with stocked food and all other basic necessities.
Just the perfect abode!
A similar project was constructed in 2013 in Olympia to help homeless people.
Through contributions and partnerships, the institute is creating Veterans Village; a specialised community of tiny homes and onsite services that will provide housing stability and treat the underlying cause of the VeteranĄ¯s homelessness.
