Watch: US Military aircraft used to deport undocumented immigrants back to their home countries
At least two military jets and one chartered flight landed in Guatemala City on Friday, carrying 265 Guatemalans deported from Tucson and El Paso in the US, while the number of flights to Mexico carrying deportees remains unclear.
US President Donald Trump has called it the 'largest deportation operation in history' and has vowed to send back every undocumented immigrant in America to their home countries. While the logistics of the deportation and its feasibility are still being debated, the Trump administration has stepped up the process of sending the illegal aliens back.

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt also shared photos of illegal immigrants boarding US military aircraft as they are being sent home.

Mass arrests of undocumented immigrants
US authorities have, however, not revealed the number of undocumented immigrants who have been deported so far. On Friday, Leavitt posted on social media that 538 illegal immigrant criminals, including a suspected terrorist, four members of the Tren de Aragua gang, and several individuals convicted of sex crimes against minors, have been arrested.
Deportation of undocumented immigrants from Mexico
Meanwhile, in Mexico, which is home to the largest population of undocumented immigrants in the US, there are uncertainties over their return.

The Mexican government has not confirmed either the arrival of flights or any agreement to receive a specific number of planes with deportees. While Mexico's foreign ministry said on Friday it was ready to work with Washington over the deportation of its citizens, there are reports that the country has refused a request from the Trump administration to allow a US military aircraft deporting migrants to land in the country.
Mexico's openness to accepting its citizens deported by the US and its role in enforcing the 'Remain in Mexico' policy¡ªwhich forced non-Mexican asylum seekers to wait in Mexico until their cases in the United States were resolved¡ªare key to the success of Trump's crackdown on illegal immigrants in the US.
