Talk about being lucky, and that too by mistake! That is exactly how a woman from the US state of Nebraska found herself thousands of dollars richer. Lori Sailors from the city of Lincoln in Nebraska hit the jackpot by winning $220,000 (Rs 1.8 crore) on a Nebraska Pick 5 lottery. What makes Sailors' winning the jackpot even more impressive is the fact that the ticket was printed by mistake.

Lottery printed by mistake
Sailors purchased three quick pick plays for the June 22 drawing at Casey's store on N 48th Street in Lincoln, one of which was an extra Pick 5 ticket that was printed by mistake. And that turned out to be her lucky number as it matched that night¡¯s winning numbers: 04, 11, 22, 24, and 27.
"I don¡¯t let the mistakes go. I don¡¯t just let them sit there," Sailors said.
Second time lucky with tickets printed by mistake
She has a good reason for not letting go of lottery tickets printed by mistake. This is because this is the second time a Nebraska Pick 5 lottery ticket printed by mistake turned out to be the lucky one for her. In 2019, Sailors won $54,000 (Rs 45 lakhs) from a Pick 5 drawing which was also a ticket that had been printed by mistake.
