Freedom To Chill At Home While The Wife Brings In The Money
Feminism has convinced women that being a homemaker and a mom is a compromise on their potential. HCL Technologies Maruti and Ford India have counselling sessions only for women employees. Tech Mahindra is about to enforce a &ldquowomen-only hiring drive&rdquo and MTS India made it compulsory to give first preference to women candidates.
I am a feminist, and a progressive husband. So why the hell do I want my wife to bring home the money? Why don¡¯t I work? If I¡¯m really a feminist, shouldn¡¯t I support women to have access to, well, whatever the hell they want, including my money?
Here¡¯s how feminism is pushing men like me out of the workplace
Feminism made it possible for my wife to steal a college scholarship from deserving men. Feminism also forced India's premier institutions like IIM (yes, IIM discriminates against men) to give her a seat.
India¡¯s biggest brands are kicking men out, and setting a precedent for others

Tech Mahindra is about to enforce is a ¡°women-only hiring drive¡±, and MTS India made it compulsory to "give first preference to women candidates. This is nothing but sexism against men in their hiring policies, and we¡¯re supposed to cheer them on. HCL Technologies, Maruti and Ford India have "counselling sessions only for women employees...", as if men don¡¯t have issues.

By the way, where¡¯s the paternity leave? Any new father will tell you, that the first few weeks of becoming a dad can be terrifying.
Meanwhile, the 2013 ' Protection of Women Against Sexual Harassment at Workplace Act' allows women to file sexual harassment cases against men - but there¡¯s no law for men to file sexual harassment cases. And who's going to take a dude seriously if he complains of sexual harassment?

In the West, feminism has convinced women that being a homemaker and a mom is a compromise on their potential. Feminism, which made it evil for men to desire a hot + homely woman combination, has made it glorious for women to declare that their place is in the office.
At parties, my wife's friends ask her, in hushed whispers: "When will he get a job?" And its feminism that¡¯s keeping her smiling, telling them she¡¯s living the dream.
All this sounds like a dream that all men secretly fantasize about. But it¡¯s more than that - it¡¯s the escape of a nightmare of not having to be 'The Man' - of having to pay for everything, and then take loans for a lifestyle of bills, babies, and boredom. Because how dare a man choose not to have kids? Of having to sweat, and bleed a bit for a good wife, a good home, a good kid, and after it all - good death.
I¡¯ve opted out

All this leaves me here, at home, everyday. When my wife comes home, tired from her high paying job that pays our bills, I¡¯m there for her, smiling, eating the fruits of a feminist way of life. Charity begins at home, and so does feminism - I've carved out a perfectly feminist empire out of my 3 BHK house. See, I'm fighting for everything I just proved feminism is fighting for - giving women a Business Class work experience.
And how am I fighting it? By opting out. And chilling at home, and using my wife¡¯s salary to pay for servants to cook and clean, and get the groceries while I finish another level of Angry Birds. Indian feminist women: my life is a middle finger to you.
