How Big E got injured
Big E, who switched from powerlifting to professional wrestling, has had an incredible run in WWE since he made his first appearance there in 2012.

Big E received arguably the biggest boost in his career when he was paired with two more established wrestlers, Woods and Kingston. The trio formed New Day, a hilariously entertaining and successful tag team. In September 2021, Big E won his first WWE Championship, defeating Bobby Lashley on an episode of RAW.
Big E's WWE career came crashing down in March 2022 on an episode of SmackDown, when he was facing Ridge Holland and Sheamus.
Holland delivered an overhead belly-to-belly suplex to Big E at ringside, resulting in him accidentally landing on the top of his head. Big E was left with a broken neck, which many fear has ended his in-ring career.
Will New Day stick together
While Big E's TV return could be great news for New Day, things have not been going well with Woods and Kingston. On last week's episode of RAW, the duo got into a heated argument, triggering speculation that New Day is heading for a split.
