Busted! Police Raids A Weed Farm In Spain After TV Helicopter Captured Footage Of It During Cycle Race
'Uppar wala sab dekh raha hai'
When you are doing something illegal, you don't want to be busted, at least not by a TV helicopter capturing the footage during a cycle race.
That's exactly what happened in Catalonia, Spain. Police raided a weed farm days after they saw a footage of it during the Vuelta a Espana, a cycling event that takes place every year.
The helicopter followed the cyclists during the event, and footage from stage eight captured the location of two rooftop plantations.
And three days later, the Catalonia Police Force raided the place and seized 40 marijuana plants from the property in Igualada, which is near Barcelona.

It was reported by Catalonian newspaper ARA that the police were already aware of the situation. And sources also told ARA that neighbours in the area had warned the local police that the people who were occupying one of the floors had emptied it and had left all the furniture in the street.
Growing cannabis to sell in Spain remains illegal, but it has been decriminalised for personal use. So, if you are growing, there are various ways you could be busted - like a bird-view camera capturing it all. What a tale.
