As celebrations erupted across the city, fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to share photos and videos of the electrifying atmosphere in Bengaluru. Politician G.B. Vinay Kumar posted a video of fireworks lighting up the night sky, writing, "Unbelievable. Bangalore right now."

Dinesh Karthik, Faf du Plessis join online celebrations
While AB de Villiers and Chris Gayle were in Ahmedabad celebrating with the boys, other former RCB stars joined the festivities online. Former New Zealand batter Ross Taylor also praised the RCB team.
On Instagram he wrote, "I was there in the very first season back in 2008, when the journey began. Just a year later, in 2009, we were one game away from lifting the trophy that final still feels like yesterday.
"To see @royalchallengers.bengaluru finally win it after all these years fills me with immense pride. So many great players have worn that jersey. I know all of us are celebrating this moment with the fans today.
"Special congratulations to @virat.kohli . You¡¯ve been the face of RCB, carrying the hopes of millions with unmatched dedication and belief. No one deserves this more."
Dinesh Karthik, now part of RCB's coaching setup, posted a series of pictures on X with the caption: "Champions."

RCB lifts first-ever IPL trophy
Virat Kohli ¡ª the man in jersey No. 18, the face of 18 years of loyalty, resilience, and unshakable commitment ¡ª had every reason to celebrate like never before.
As the final moments unfolded, an emotional Kohli jumped into Philip Salt's arms, then turned to embrace head coach Andy Flower and his wife, Anushka Sharma, sealing the moment with a kiss on her forehead. Mayank Agarwal and the rest of the RCB squad joined in, while Josh Hazlewood shared a warm hug with Anushka.
