ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup 2025: Schedule, format, venues and all Indian fans need to know
The Indian women's U19 team prepares to defend their title in the ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup 2025, hosted by Malaysia. Sixteen teams will compete in 41 matches over 16 days, aiming to etch their names in cricket history.
After claiming the title in the inaugural tournament, the Indian women's U19 team is all set for the second edition of the ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup, scheduled from January 18, 2025. The tournament will feature 16 teams competing for the title, all aiming to join India as champions in the history books.
Hosted by Malaysia, this tournament marks the country's first major cricket event since the ICC U19 Men¡¯s Cricket World Cup in 2008. All 16 teams will be divided into four groups during the opening stage of the tournament. Over a 16-day period, they will compete in 41 matches.

ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup 2025: Groups
Group A: India, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and West Indies
Group B: England, Ireland, Pakistan and USA
Group C: New Zealand, South Africa, Nigeria and Samoa
Group D: Australia, Bangladesh, Nepal and Scotland
Format of the ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup 2025:
Each team will face the others in their group during the round-robin phase, playing three matches in the group stage. The top three teams from each group will progress to the Super Six stage.
Meanwhile, the bottom-ranked teams from Groups A and D, as well as Groups B and C, will compete in the last-place playoffs on January 24.

ICC U19 Women's T20 World Cup 2025: Venues
The tournament will be played across four venues. All venues will host Super 6 and play-off matches, culminating in the finals at Pandamaran.
Group A: Pandamaran's Bayuemas Oval
Group B: Johor Cricket Academy Oval
Group C: UKM-YSD Cricket Oval in Bangi
Group D: Borneo Cricket Ground in Sarawak
