With a 3-1 lead in the 5-match T20I series, India is set to face England for the final time in the shortest format at the iconic Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday, February 3. India's third win to clinch the series came on the back of all-rounders Hardik Pandya and Shivam Dube, who both smashed half-centuries, helping India post 181/9 in 20 overs.
Concussion substitute Harshit Rana, who replaced Dube, made an impact, while Ravi Bishnoi took three English wickets, and Varun Chakravarthy claimed two. Axar Patel and Arshdeep Singh took one wicket each, dismissing the visitors for 166 in 19.4 overs.

Hardik Pandya delivered a stellar performance at MCA Stadium in Pune. Coming in at number seven, Pandya blasted 53 runs off 30 balls, setting a competitive total for India. With his impressive form throughout the series, Pandya now has the chance to surpass Rohit Sharma in two major T20I records.
Rohit Sharma's records could be broken in Mumbai
As Team India heads to Mumbai, Hardik Pandya has the opportunity to overtake Rohit Sharma in two records. The 'Hitman', who retired from this format after India's T20 World Cup victory in 2024, has scored 467 T20I runs in 15 innings against England.
Pandya, is close behind with 405 runs from 17 innings, averaging 31.15 and a strike rate of 148.35. If Pandya scores 63 runs in the final T20I in Mumbai, he will surpass Rohit¡¯s total.
Additionally, both players share the record for most T20I half-centuries against England (3). If Pandya hits his second consecutive fifty in this series, he will also take the lead for the most T20I fifties against England.

Hardik Pandya's impact in the T20I series
The all-rounder has scored 103 runs at an average of 34.33 and a strike rate of 137.33. He has also taken five wickets across four matches played. With the fifth T20I scheduled at Wankhede Stadium, Pandya is expected to play a crucial role in the final match of the series.
