Dhruv Jurel Is As Fast As Lightning With The Gloves And This Stumping Is Already Drawing Comparisons With MS Dhoni
Dhruv Jurel showed shades of MS Dhoni when he produced a brilliant stumping to remove Shahadat Hossain U-19 World Cup final. India went down fighting as they lost to Bangladesh in the title clash.
Dhruv Jurel showed shades of MS Dhoni when he produced a brilliant stumping to remove Shahadat Hossain U-19 World Cup final. India went down fighting as they lost to Bangladesh in the title clash.
The Boys in Blue were the defending champions and their opponents lifted the title for the first time.
India managed just 177 and despite Ravi Bishnoi taking 4 wickets, Bangladesh squeezed home by 3 wickets in a rain-affected match.
But Dhruv's brilliance behind the stumps was something special and certainly reminded us of Captain Cool.
Bishnoi bowled a flighted ball and Hossain played forward. It took a bit of the inside edge and rolled towards Dhruv. The keeper collected in quick time and once he saw the batsman out of the crease he did the rest.
It was gloves like lightning and you have to see it to believe it. Take a look:
It brought back memories of Dhoni's best stumpings and Twitter was in awe of the youngster:

So do we have one more contender for the gloves in the senior side? Well it's too early to say but Dhruv is certainly making waves in the junior circuit.
The man is handy with the bat as well and a good finisher. We can see that he keeps like Dhoni, if he can bat like him, well then who knows, we might see him playing for the Men in Blue in the near future.
