Fiat Workers Upset That Cristiano Ronaldo Is Coming To Juventus As They Feel It's A Waste Of Money
They feel it's an unnecessary investment.
Cristiano Ronaldo has left Real Madrid after 9 years to join Italy's Serie-A champions Juventus and Madrid fans are really upset.
But so are Fiat employees, but for a completely different reason.
Juventus has signed a four-year contract for a whopping 100 million Euros with the Portuguese player and is paying an additional fee of 12 million Euros.

Agnelli family, Juventus¡¯ owners for over 90 years also own Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and CNH Industrial through their holding company Exor. Exor holds a 64% share over Juventus.
An Italian trade union, Unione Sindacale di Base (USB), has raised their voice against the transfer.
¡°It is unacceptable that while FCA and CNHI workers continue to make huge economic sacrifices, the company then spends hundreds of millions of euros on the purchase of a player,¡± the USB said in a statement.
The statement further stated that while so many work so hard, yet get a minimal salary, it is not justified to pay such a huge amount of money for a single human resource.
¡°The company should invest in car models that guarantee the futures of thousands of people rather than enriching only one,¡± it said.
The trade union has called a strike from July 15 to July 17 to protest against the transfer.

But on the other side, Jeep, owned by Fiat Chrysler plans to gain big from the player. Jeep¡¯s logo is very prominent on the Juventus journey and they hope to get some good advertisement deals out of Cristiano¡¯s presence in the team.
