Harmanpreet Kaur Takes India To Women¡¯s World Cup Final And Cricket Veterans Just Can¡¯t Stop Praising Her
En route to her 171, Kaur smashed 20 fours and 7 sixes
Mithali Raj, Smriti Mandhana and now it's time for Harmanpreet Kaur to hog the limelight. The batswoman scored a 115-ball 171 in a high-voltage semi-final of the ICC Women's World Cup against Australia and helped India reach the final of the historic tournament.
Her performance was so powerful that had it not rained, she would have gone past Rohit Sharma's historic 264. She smashed 20 boundaries and 7 sixes in her innings. With a strike rate of nearly 150, there was just no stopping her.
All that easily grabbed social media's attention and also of the best cricketers in the country. Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, Rohit Sharma, Yuvraj Singh and Kapil Dev led from the front to express kind words for Harmanpreet.
