After fan backlash at Raw Netflix debut, Hulk Hogan to skip appearance at WWE SNME

WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan will not attend WWE Saturday Night's Main Event in San Antonio on January 25. The last-minute change of plan has been blamed on ¡°family commitments¡±.
"I've been informed that Hulk Hogan will not be appearing on SNME due to family commitments," Dr. Chris Featherstone, who first reported the development, said.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer also confirmed that Hogan wouldn¡¯t be a part of WWE Saturday Night's Main Event on January 25 but added that it had nothing to do with the fan reaction during his appearance at Raw's Netflix debut earlier this month.
"Featherstone¡¯s report of a family-related reason for Hogan missing the show is also accurate. This had nothing to do with his being booed in Los Angeles or at every arena where the Saturday Night¡¯s Main Event commercial played, or Jesse Ventura or any other reason in that direction," Meltzer noted.

Hogan, arguably one of the biggest names in the history of professional wrestling, found himself in a rather unfamiliar spot when he made his WWE return on the first episode of Raw in 2025. The 18,000-strong crowd booed Hogan, who was making a special appearance to promote his Real American Beer.
