ICC Just Schooled Michael Vaughan For Trying To Troll Virat Kohli And We Are Loving It!
Vaughan tried to take a dig as Kohli being depicted as a king in ODIs.
ICC is known for its wit and can also be pretty ruthless when needed and former England skipper Michael Vaughan found that out the hard way.
BCCI/Reuters
It all started when Vaughan took a dig at Virat Kohli being depicted as a king. This was in all probability after Kohli got out vs South Africa in the World Cup opener. He shared a Tweet by ICC on Team India which shows Kohli dressed like a king with a bat and ball in each hand. Vaughan obviously was not happy with the partiality and made a sarcastic comment on Twitter:
Nothing like impartiality!!! https://t.co/Ok0y95MI0z

Well the ICC was in no mood to let him go and decided to give him a lesson on Kohli's credentials. It replied sharing his position as the top batsman in ODIs and also the fact that he won the awards of Test Cricketer of the Year, ODI Cricketer of the Year and Cricketer of the Year at the recent ICC awards:

Looks like Vaughan needs to think before posting as he should have gotten his facts straight. Lesson for the future it seems. Provided he learns from his mistake.
