Love For Cricket Breaks All Barriers - ''We Want India Here'' Is Lahore Fans' Special Message During PSL

Pakistan cricket has seen some dark days in recent times as the team's form has dipped slightly in all formats. Even as the team looks to turn things around in 2020, the PSL has gotten underway which is proving to be entertaining for fans.

International cricket has crawled its way back to the country since the Sri Lankan team bus was attacked in Lahore back in 2009

Ever since that day home fans had to wait a long time for foreign sides to come. Till now Sri Lanka, Zimbabwe, West Indies and a World XI side have come.

But in a PSL game between Islamabad United and Multan Sultans, fans in Lahore were seen holding up the placard "We want India here".

Yes, India vs Pakistan is the mother of all battles and it has been a long time since we have engaged in bilateral ties with them due to political tensions. Pakistan are scheduled to host the Asia Cup this year but India have made it clear they will not play across the border. The fans of course know no such barriers and the love of cricket is making them appeal to the Men in Blue to cross over.

The last time India played a bilateral series in Pakistan was way back in 2006. Rahul Dravid was the skipper of the side that lost the Tests 1-0 but won the ODIs 4-1.

Will we see an Indian side going to Pakistan anytime soon? Unlikely, but one can always hope.
