Former team India captain, MS Dhoni, who is serving in the Army as a Lieutenant Colonel is in Ladakh, celebrated Independence Day along with his unit and local residents.
Dhoni, who holds an honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel in the Territorial Army, reached Ladakh on Wednesday, to a warm reception from the Army personnel and was seen interacting with them.

Dhoni was seen spending time with the jawans at an Army hospital in Ladakh with pictures and videos of the legendary cricketer doing the rounds on social media.

Dhoni is also expected to visit the Army's Siachen base on August 15 and is likely to pay his tributes to the martyrs at the Siachen War Memorial as well.
As team India continue winning on their tour of West Indies, Dhoni, who took a break from cricket, has been serving our country differently - yet remarkably, with the guardians and those who protect us - the Army.
