Pakistan Beat India To Clinch Their First Ever Champions Trophy Title
Pakistan beat India by 180 runs
It couldn't have been worse for Team India. After a dream run in the entire Champions Trophy, India have finally succumbed to Pakistan in the final by a whopping margin of 180 runs.
Now Pakistan become third to win all three ICC tournaments - World Cup, World T20 and now the Champions Trophy. India and West Indies are the other two teams to register feat.
The entire match seemed in Pakistan's favour as Fakhar Zaman took them to a brilliant start with a swashbuckling century. Then impactful knocks by Mohammad Hafeez, Babar Azam and Azhar Ali kept the momentum going.
Pakistan set up a total of 338 in their first innings and then it was time for India to chase.
Except Hardik Pandya, no cricketer clicked. Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Yuvraj Singh and MS Dhoni - all of them fell for cheap, leaving the Indian innings in a state of despair.
