As a cancer survivor, Yuvraj Singh knows only too well the horrors the disease can cause. It not only takes life but slowly reduces a person in every way.

So the southpaw decided to take time out and visit children who are fighting the disease ahead of Christmas.
The 35--year-old paid a visit to St. Jude India ChildCare centre in Parel, Mumbai and spent quality time with children suffering from cancer. It included an interactive session and he also gave them gifts.
For the kids it was a moment to remember with their hero who not only won his battles on the field but off it as well.

Well done Yuvraj for trying to make a difference. After the 2011 World Cup he faced a fight for his life. Now he is stronger after recovering and perhaps sharing that experience is what these youngsters need to have hope for the future.
