Dream test debut
One of Dhawan's most memorable innings was his Test debut in March 2013 against Australia. Dhawan made his Test debut in Mohali on 14 March, scoring 187. In the process, Dhawan also scored the fastest century on Test debut, off 85 balls. This was also the highest score by an Indian cricketer on his Test debut.
114 against South Africa
Dhawan played another match-winning knock later that year during India's first game in the 2013 Champions Trophy. Dhawan, who opened the innings for India along with Rohit Sharma against South Africa in Cardiff, scored 114 from 94 balls to put the Men in Blue on a match-winning total of 331/7.
190 against Sri Lanka
Dhawan's highest score in Test cricket came against Sri Lanka in 2017. Dhawan scored 190 off just 168 balls in India's first Test against Sri Lanka at Galle.
Highest ODI score
Dhawan's highest score in ODIs came against Australia on 10 March 2019 at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium, Chandigarh, when he scored 143 runs in just 115 balls.
117 against Australia
Dhawan also played another match-winning innings against Australia in the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup. Dhawan, who played through an injury, scored 117, with his 100 coming off 95 balls against Australia.
137 against South Africa
Another memorable inning of Dhawan was in the 2015 ICC Cricket World Cup match against South Africa in Melbourne. Dhawan scored 137 runs in 146 balls to take India to a comfortable 307/7.
