Wasim Akram Attacked By Unknown Assailants On Live TV While Praising Virat Kohli's Innings Against Australia
As the World T20 moves forward, it is a common sight to see former cricketers give their views on a match. But what is rare is to see a legend attacked on live television.

Well, believe it or not, that is exactly what happened to former Pakistan pacer Wasim Akram who was speaking live on a Hindi news channel.
Akram was giving his insight on the India-Australia match in Mohali on Sunday and also praising Virat Kohli's batting when two men appeared out of nowhere and blocked the camera and heckled the 49-year-old.
It was without warning and even the news anchor was shocked at what he saw. No one knows who the attackers were.
Due to this merciless attack in my country, I have ceased all work commitments tonight. My heart is with my hometown. Stay strong #Lahore

Akram later tweeted that he was standing by his country at this sad time due to the Lahore blast and cancelled all his commitments in India for the time being.
This rare and shocking incident is not something you see everyday. The viewers, or for that matter, Akram himself was not expecting such a thing to happen.
