Virat Kohli added another feather to his cap as he completed 1000 runs in Tests this year.

Coming out to bat on the 3rd morning of the Mumbai Test against England, Kohli reached the milestone and became the first Indian to do so since Rahul Dravid since 2011.

Kohli has played 11 Tests this year, with a highest score of 211, and an average easily above 70.
He also completed 4000 runs in Tests.

The 28-year-old is one of four players to score 1000 runs this year. The other three - Jonny Bairstow, Joe Root and Alastair Cook, all who are playing in the match.
