Virat Kohli Tops Indian Celebrities With Highest Brand Value Of Rs. 1692 Crore In 2019
Virat Kohli is the most chased brand-endorser in the Indian market. His brand value rose by an impressive 39 per cent to $2375 million in 2019. Akshay Kumar is second in the list with brand value of $1045 million Rs744 crores.

He has innumerable records to his name in the game of cricket and his popularity can also be judged by his brand endorsements which is currently highest among celebrities in India.

Over the last two years, the topper in the list of brand endorsers is Virat Kohli, the James Bond of the brand endorsement market in India today. Every Bollywood star has been displaced by the king of cricket, Kohli, and today he is possibly the most chased brand-endorser in the Indian market.
He has done it again, for a third year running. According to a study by global advisory firm, Duff and Phelps, Kohli topped the brand valuation list for the third consecutive year as his value rose by an impressive 39 per cent to $237.5 million in 2019 (Rs. 1692 crores).

In the study titled Celebrity Brand Valuation Study 2019: "New is Gold." which provides a ranking of India's most powerful celebrities based on brand values derived from their endorsement contracts, the 31-year-old Indian skipper was ahead of many Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Ranveer Singh and Shah Rukh Khan.
Akshay Kumar is second in the list when it comes to brand endorsements with brand value of $104.5 million (Rs. 744 crores), at a growth of 55.3 per cent. Celebrated Bollywood couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika, claimed the third spot with a brand value of $93.5 million each (Rs 666 crores).

It just proves how big Kohli has become for the India market and brands in general. At one point, Bollywood stars were the most bankable and marketable, but no more. The Kohli mania has taken over.
For years now, Kohli is stealing the show - on and off the field. His performances on the field are only getting better and his will continue to be the go to man for top brands in the near future as well.
