John is set to retire from in-ring competition at the end of the year, and his farewell tour is already underway. He turned heel at Elimination Chamber 2025 and aligned with The Rock. ¡®The Franchise¡¯ then went on to beat Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 41 to become the new Undisputed Champion. Amid this, an NXT star addressed the possibility of him facing Cena during his retirement tour.

Oba Femi, the current NXT champion, is a powerhouse in his own right. Not so long ago, the newcomer feuded with Moose and gave a good account of himself. He is also involved in a rivalry with Trick Williams.
Speaking on the No Contest Wrestling Podcast, the Nigerian star said that it is unlikely that he will cross paths with Cena in his final year as a WWE performer. Oba Femi pointed out the Cena is in the twilight of his career while he is just starting out, which indicates that a match between them is not on the menu.
