Stephanie Vaquer, began her career in Chile, made an impact in AEW
Stephanie Vaquer, who became a double champion at NXT Roadblock 2025, was born in Chile in 1993. She began her career under the guidance of Paul Slandering and made her debut when she was merely 16. Vaquer initially worked for small promotions in her country before joining Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) in 2019 on a part-time basis. She eventually signed with them as a fulltimer. She also represented the company at the Resurgence event in 2023 where she lost to Mercedes Mone in the semifinals.

Vaquer eventually joined AEW in May 2024 and immediately reignited her rivalry with Mone. After defeating Lady Frost in her first match for the promotion, Vaquer unsuccessfully challenged Mone for the TBS title in a ¡®Winner Takes All¡¯ match, dropping her Strong Women's Championship in the process.
She is a mainstay of the NXT roster
In July 2024, Stephanie Vaquer signed with the WWE and was sent to the NXT brand. After comfortably beating Wren Sinclair in her first televised match, she locked horns with Cora Jade and Roxanne Perez. She was soon joined by Giulia, who helped her even the odds. A few months later, Stephanie Vaquer entered the Royal Rumble 2025 match for the first time but was eliminated by Nia Jax. A few weeks later she beat Fallon Henley at NXT Vengeance Day to capture the NXT Women's North American Championship, her first title in the WWE.
She successfully defended the title against Karmen Petrovic before feuding with Giulia, who she beat at Roadblock. Vaquer¡¯s big win at the event suggests that she will be the face of the brand going forward. This might also help her make an impact on the main roster in the coming days.
