For those of you grumbling about your data connection, have no fear because 5G is almost upon us.
But if you want the faster speeds and shorter load times it promises when it launches, you're going to need to buy a 5G-capable smartphone to actually use it.
Here are the top 5G phones you should be saving your money to buy in India very soon.
Mi Mix 3 - Rs 34,800 (Expected)
Despite getting a later start, Xiaomi is officially the first 5G smartphone in the world, though it hasn't launched in India just yet. It packs a 6.4-inch super AMOLED display with a 12MP/12MP rear shooter, 2.8GHz Snapdragon 845, and choices of 6GB, 8GB or 10GB of RAM.
Most importantly though, there's no notch despite a lack of bezels. Instead, the dual 24MP/24MP selfie cameras are hidden in a pull-out shelf in the top of the device.
Sony Xperia XZ3 - Rs 75,990 (Expected)
The Sony Xperia XZ3 meanwhile may be the first 5G phone at least to launch in India. This device packs a 6-inch display with a 19MP rear camera and a 13MP selfie shooter. It comes with 4GB RAM, the same Snapdragon 845, and has dual-SIM capability. The device is expected to hit Indian shelves a little later this month.
Moto Z3 - Rs 25,000 (Expected for base 64GB version)
Moto's Z series is a premium range, and the Z3 is no different -- with a mod it can be a 5G phone for you to use. It features a 6-inch display and a 12MP/12MP dual rear camera, and a 8MP shooter on the front. However, the battery is a little small at just 3000mAh. But despite all the features it borrows, the Z3 sticks to the trend of running stock Android, which means you won't have any strange UI quirks to deal with.

Samsung S10 - Unknown
Samsung is said to be launching three versions of the Galaxy S10 next year, which may well be the company's first 5G phone in the market. The S10 and S10 Plus will follow the company's usual pattern, whereas the third device will forgo the curved display and fingerprint scanner in order to flaunt a cheaper price tag. The S10 is expected to have the now popular fingerprint scanner embedded in the display. In addition, it'll have three rear cameras, and a selfie camera tucked under the display itself.

OnePlus 7 - Unknown
With the OnePlus 6T just releasing in India, you can expect the OnePlus 7 to be here sometime early next year. Not much is know about the device's possible specs, but we can make a few guesses. Based on the 6T, we can expect the OnePlus 7 to continue the embedded fingerprint scanner trend, as well as stick with its new water drop notch and the glass back option. Aside from that, who knows? But it's safe to assume the next OnePlus phone will be a 5G phone.
All of these devices however are introducing 5G support thanks to the new X50 modem from Qualcomm. It's compliant with the new 3GPP standards for 5G radios, the company developed in partnership with Ericsson. During tests for the technology, they completed an OTA call using sub-6 GHz bands on a smartphone. Thiss technology will be paired with special 5G antennae developed by a partnership between OnePlus and Vivo.
