Netflix Users Can Now Play Mobile Games On Android Devices: Here's How
Netflix games will require an existing Netflix subscription to play those games, without any additional fees or in-app purchases.
Popular OTT platform Netflix has now announced that it would now also allow its members on Android devices to play exclusive mobile games on its platform, foraying into new territory after its home ground is threatened by stiff competition.

The tactic of offering Netflix games free to existing subscribers isn¡¯t new. It did the exact same thing years ago, when it first introduced its video streaming service, offering it as a free to try service to the existing DVD-by-mail service subscribers.
Netflix first announced its foray into the gaming sector in July this year after it experienced a considerable drop in getting new subscribers on the platform after years of expansion.
Adding more fuel to this fire was the pandemic that had affected its growth since the outbreak in 2020, as well as other competitive platforms like Disney+ and HBO Max stealing a considerable share from them, in some markets.

Netflix also went ahead and acquired video game maker Night School Studio in September and rolled out five mobile gaming titles in select European markets.

As of now, Netflix has a handful of games -- Stranger Things:1984, Stranger Things 3: The Game, Card Blast, Teeter Up and Shooting Hoops. The game is available only on Android to Netflix members in Spain, Italy and Poland.
To play these games, simply head to the Games Tab on the Netflix Android App, where after selecting the game, it'll take you to the Google Play Store to download it. It'll require you to log in using your Netflix credentials to play the game.
Getting Netflix Games on iOS could be a tricky endeavour as the App Store doesn¡¯t really allow apps to host their own apps within, except in case of game-streaming platforms like Microsoft¡¯s XCloud and Google Stadia.
