In A Sad Admission Of Defeat, Apple May Shockingly Kill Off iPhone X Before It Completes 1 Year
Apple is planning to cancel iPhone X as revealed by an expert industry analyst.
All good things come to an end.
But is it a good thing if it's actually a failure? After much anticipation and expectation, Apple's 10th anniversary iPhone X is being killed off and it may not live past its first birthday. Wait, what?!
In a report gained by AppleInsider, industry analyst Ming-Chi Kuo has revealed that due to its disappointing sales, iPhone X will be cancelled "with production ceasing in the summer". Well, that's a bummer.

This would be the first time the tech giant will cancel an iPhone model under one year.
Ming-Chi Kuo, who is well-known for revealing Apple's biggest plans, has said that the ?999 smartphone has not fared well enough to be kept around. The KGI Securities¡¯ analyst said in the report that Apple will kill iPhone X instead of bringing its price down as it would puncture the sales of a newer model.

"Lowering iPhone X's price after the 2H18 new models launch would be a negative to product brand value given 3D sensing and OLED display are features of the new high-price model. Additionally, to sell iPhone X at a lower price may have a negative impact on shipments of the new 6.1," Kuo wrote in the research note.
In other very disappointing words, the smartphone will meet its maker "around the middle of 2018".
Kuo added that the main reason behind this was a lack of interest in China. Since the Chinese love big screens - no surprises there - the iPhone X's polarising "notch" is considered as removing too much usable space by the Chinese.

But it's not all dark and death for Apple. The brand will end the year on a high note with a total of three new iPhone X-inspired designs - a second generation 5.8-inch iPhone X, 6.5-inch iPhone X Plus and a ¡°$650-750¡± 6.1-inch iPhone SE replacement fitted with Face ID.
It's a bummer nonetheless - I can hear Apple fans crying already. Life can turn around as it always does. Just keep thinking different!
