With PUBG Mobile as popular as it is, it can be hard work to eke out even a single win with your mates.

So here are a few pro tips to take on one of the most formidable spots on the game's Erangel map, and the compound most likely to get you killed, the Sosnovka Military base.

1. Tactical entry

There are of course plenty of ways to get into the C building of Military Base, but the idea here is to get in without losing half your health. Your first priority should be landing atop the building, after which you immediately need to seek cover indoors. Stay away from the windows and, while you're watching all nearby doors and windows, make sure to keep your ears peeled for sounds of movement

2. Duck and cover

This might seem like a no-brainer, but we're going to say it anyway. It's far too easy to get shot from a variety of angles in the base. So if that's where you've landed, grab your guns and stay low. If you landed alongside other people, wait for them to move so you can ambush them. The best hiding spot the niche behind the main door. Because of the wall, enemies usually don't look right.

If you're the one on the approach though, make sure to use the bushes around the building as cover while you scope out the base. Be quick when you enter doors and don't stop moving. Or, you could just try to sneak in through a window your enemy won't expect.

3. Knowledge is power

At least that's what a lot of PUBG Mobile pros will tell you. Any glitch that's been publicized but hasn't yet been fixed is fair game, unless otherwise specified. That's why these pros use things like noclipping issues to sneak a peek of enemies through walls and floors.

4. Escape when you need to

When making your way out of the military base, the best exit point is always the roof. The height makes it a perfect vantage to sweep for enemies before you leave. Additionally, you can still jump down and make your way quickly through the ledges, offering you convenient cover for your escape. Try and take one of the many vehicles lying around on the base. You're going to need it.

5. Use your teammates

Your team is good for way more than just covering you and avenging your death. With enough communication, you can actually use each other to do make some really sneaky ploys. For instance, you can avoid fall damage when jumping off the military base roof to the ground below. Simply get your teammate to remain prone below, and aim to jump right on top of his character. If you do it right, that should let you avoid all the incoming damage.

6. Watch out while you drop

Beware the drop. Again, the toughest part of Military Base is actually landing at it. An estimated 70 percent of deaths in this compound are through windows or from hiding spots. If you want a chance at surviving, land on the roof, grab your guns, and move to the nearest vantage point. Then scope out the area, and try to take out other players that may not have finished gearing up yet.
