Apple Will Give 20% Bonus To Users Who Add Money To Apple ID: Here's How

Apple fans in India, listen up! The California-based company recently launched its iPhone 13 line up with a new iPad Mini and the Apple Watch Series 7. Now, the company is offering a credit bonus to users in India.

What is the Apple bonus offer?

In a brand new offering for Indian users, Apple is offering a 20 per cent bonus to all costumers who add money to Apple ID credits. Valid till September 30, the credits may be used to purchase games and software on the Apple App Store.

In addition, the credits (including the bonus) may be used to pay for subscriptions like Apple Music and Apple TV+. It doesn't stop there. The credits may also be used to buy additional iCloud storage - a fan favourite.

The 20 per cent bonus amount will be deposited by Apple in the user's Apple ID. The 20 per cent bonus is valid on all transactions and the bonus amount will depend on what constitutes 20 per cent of the paid amount. For instance, a ?500 top up will give users extra credit worth ?100 automatically till September 30.

Here's how to avail Apple's special credit bonus for Indians:

1. Open settings in our Apple device

2. Click on your profile name and then go to "payment"

3. After clicking on "Apple ID", you should see the option to "Add money"

4. Get set go - once you add money, Apple will automatically add the bonus amount in your store credits

You could also top up your Apple account by going to the App Store and choosing "Add credit to Apple ID".

Want to spend your bonus amount on non-Apple services? Worry not, the company allows users to purchase third-party subscriptions of even competing streaming services like Hotstar Disney+ and Netflix. To avail the offer, make sure you have a valid payment method activated in your account. It could be UPI, RuPay along with support for credit and debit cards.
