Reels get new editing tools
Video editing just got smoother on Instagram with undo and redo functions. Instagram is also testing features that allow users to scale, crop, and rotate individual clips. "We¡¯re also making it easier for you to find existing tools like Voiceover," Instagram wrote.
Users can also incorporate audio clips from the clip hub. "Try connecting with your fans by playing with memes and inviting fans to create their own remix."
Voice and text options
Instagram is also adding 10 new English text-to-speech voices and six new text fonts and styles in hundreds of languages. To make text visibility better across the app, Instagram has also added an outline option.

Easier audio access and improved drafts
Now, Instagram users can discover trending audio more efficiently by a new way to access the audio browser. "You can now quickly jump to the audio page from the top of the camera roll and find what inspires you."
In addition, drafts are also getting a makeover with a new streamlined view that enables easier editing. Instagram users can now preview, rename, and schedule drafts in advance.
Custom stickers and image filters
Instagram is testing the ability to create custom stickers from personal images, videos, or eligible content across the platform. New filters for images also make it possible to make subtle changes to colours and more.

Easier posting and better insights
Instagram has made the posting process easier and users can now find the necessary tools during editing. With improved insights, users can check a new Reels metric called Replays that shows both Initial Plays and Replays.
In the coming months, Instagram creators will get access to an interactive Retention Chart that offers moment-by-moment insight into Reel viewership.
