3D Athlete Tracking or 3DAT is a never-before-seen computer vision solution that uses four pan-tilt mounted articulating cameras to capture the form and motion of athletes competing in the game.

The tech makes the most of AI and applies its algorithms to provide better performance estimation after analysing the player's biomechanics. The tech is currently being equipped for relay and sprinting events where the data will be shown to the spectators at home and in the stadium (in real-time) during the broadcast as overlays.

The 2020 Olympics in Tokyo will connect people using the blazing-fast connectivity of 5G network to bind everything together. Artificial Intelligence or AI is getting smarter every day, and it has now reached a new level. The theme track for the 2020 Olympics was created with the help of AI using a range of 1,000 different sound samples reflecting the themes of sports, Japanese culture, daily lives and nature.

The AI compiled five different rhythms using these samples. The beat is formed by two parts -- the call (base rhythm) and response (response rhythm). Audiences will hear the call part and follow the response partly to clap their hands, hyping up the already electric crowd!
