From iPhone To Apple Watch: Seven New Gadgets Apple Will Launch At Tomorrow¡¯s iPhone Event

The day is almost here, Apple's annual product unveiling event is tomorrow, and boy oh boy, we can't wait to see what Apple has in store for us.

While the new iPhones are most definitely confirmed, the leaks and rumour mill has shed light on some more devices that Apple is expected to launch, apart from the annual refresh to iPhones obviously.

iPhone 11 Pro

Recent leaks have revealed that the smaller 5.8-inch iPhone 11 will get the Pro moniker, just like the iPads. The phone is getting a design overhaul with a new triple-camera setup at the back. On the inside, we can expect Apple to bring in the successor to the A12 Bionic CPU -- the A13 (or whatever it decides to name it). For camera, Apple might be going with three 12-megapixel sensors with a standard-wide lens, a secondary ultra-wide lens and tertiary telephoto lens.

iPhone 11 Pro Max

The larger iPhone 11 Max will also be joining the 'Pro' team while sporting the same ginormous 6.5-inch OLED display. As history has it, both the devices will be getting similar hardware and memory, with the Max variant getting a larger battery. The camera setup will be identical to the 11 Pro too.

iPhone 11R

Apple will also be unveiling the successor to the most successful iPhone of last year, the iPhone 11R. The smartphone will continue to be one of the most affordable smartphones this year and is expected to get a major feature upgrade. For starters, iPhone 11R is expected to get an OLED display, just like his siblings. Moreover, from the single camera sensor at the back, the 11R will be getting a dual-camera setup-- just like the XS and XS Max. The phone will also get the same processor as the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max.

Apple Watch Series 5 Standard Edition

Alongside the iPhones, Apple is also expected to refresh its lineup of Apple Watch, bringing its fifth generation to the market. While there aren't many leaks about the upcoming Apple Watches, we can expect them to be lighter and slightly sleeker than last year's, but definitely nothing major. However, we could see a new S5 chip to power the Watch Series 5 providing better performance and battery efficiency. The smartwatch is also expected to feature a non-intrusive way to track your blood sugar level.

Apple Watch Series 5 LTE

With the Series 3, Apple introduced an LTE version of its Apple Watch that enabled it to make calls. Differentiated from the rest by a red dot on the control dial, Users could also use the watch standalone without the need of having an iPhone wirelessly connected to it. We can expect another LTE version of the Series 5 Apple Watch, along with the aforementioned features.

Apple Watch Series 5 Edition Ceramic

Apple had launched a premium 'Edition' ceramic model with Series 3, however, we didn't get to see a ceramic Series 4. Leaks now hint that we could see the reprise of a ceramic edition Apple Watch Series 5 this year, which would also be the most premium of the lot.

Apple Airpods 2.0

Apple recently refreshed the current generation Apple Airpods and brought along a wireless charging case for it, along with improved battery performance. However, there weren't any major changes to the hardware or aesthetics of the Airpods. First unveiled in 2016, the Airpods are in a dire need of an upgrade, so it only seems likely we can expect new Airpods at the Keynote event this year.

One More Thing...

Apple is always known to surprise the crowd with its ¡®One more thing¡¯. For this year's one more thing, we feel it could refresh the lineup of iPads along with the iPad Pros. It could also be the first glimpse of the Apple Smart Glasses (just like Google Glass) that the leaks reveal Apple is currently working on. We'll just have to wait and watch.
