Harley-Davidson Ready With Their First All-Electric Motorcycle 'LiveWire', Will Showcase It At EICMA 2018
Harley-Davidson has unveiled its first ever all-electric motorcycle LiveWire. The bike is set to make its debut in 2019 at the EICMA 2018 in Milan Italy. Harley will be showcasing the bike to the general public at the event. The company has plans to introduce five other electric motorcycles by 2022.
Harley-Davidson had come up with the most radical deviation in its motorcycle lineup back in 2014 with the all-electric LiveWire concept. Following years saw the company advance on the idea and showcase its first ever production unit only last month. Now that the all-electric bike from the house of Harley-Davidson is set to make its debut in 2019, the company will be showcasing it to the general public at the coming EICMA 2018 to be held in Milan, Italy.
LiveWire marks a whole new venture by Harley-Davidson. It is the bike makers first attempt at an all-electric motorcycle and the company has left no stone unturned to embed the no-clutch, ¡®twist and go¡¯ mechanism into its iconic styling. They even placed a fake fuel tank on the bike to give it the desired conventional look.

Designed at Harley-Davidson¡¯s Product Development Center in Wisconsin, the bike is being built at Harley-Davidson¡¯s manufacturing facility in York, PA. The company is yet to reveal any specifications of the motorcycle. The public viewing of the LiveWire at EICMA will be prove to be a way to familiarise the bike lovers with Harley¡¯s attempt at an all-electric machine.

Post the LiveWire, Harley-Davidson will inevitably be expanding its electric line-up. The company already has plans to introduce five other electric motorcycles that are expected to be commercialised by 2022.
