"I enjoy being on this medium, where I've made great friends and see everyday the creativity of people," the prime minister, who has 44.4 million followers, tweeted to Dorsey later. In turn, the Twitter CEO thanked the Prime Minister for his on improving the platform.
The meeting was part of Dorsey's first trip to India, one of the social media sites' biggest markets in the world. So far, he's already met with Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama, as well as the Congress party's Rahul Gandhi.
Delighted to meet you @jack! Happy to see the passion with which you¡¯re leading @Twitter.

At an IIT-Delhi event on Monday, Dorsey addressed the fake news situation on Twitter. Though he vowed the company was tackling the issue, he insisted there's no universal fix for such a complex problem.
So far, under pressure from the Indian government, Facebook and WhatsApp are both taking steps to curb hoaxes and misinformation on their platforms. Hopefully Twitter will have better success with their own efforts, but don't hold your breath.
