If This Is An Early Leak Of Apple's 2019 iPhone, Then It Is Just Plain Ugly Design

Apple might believe it's been really innovative in the last few years, but it's iPhone sales numbers tell a different story.
Now, it looks like the company might be getting a little desperate with their attempts to attract customers. Case in point, the 2019 iPhone design.
These are some of the latest renders of the upcoming iPhone, courtesy of designer Ben Geskin, and boy does it look awful. We're still not sure what exactly the front looks like. The rear of the device though is a god-awful mess.
Instead of a camera bump, Apple seems to be considering a camera plateau. That's because rumours and leaks have indicated the new iPhone will have not two rear cameras but three. There's been no word on what combination of wide-angle and telescopic or whatnot these lenses will be, except for one tidbit.
Apple is reportedly giving the iPhone XI a 'time of flight' (TOF) camera. It'll have a few new sensors that measure the amount of time it takes light to bounce of an object and back. That basically gives the iPhone better depth-sensing, which could be amazing for portrait photos, and might also improve its 3D imaging and AR capabilities.
Since the first information came out, there have also been leaks of what looks to be the new iPhone's chassis schematics, which is what this render is based off. Of course, we won't know for sure until the device launches later this year, probably in September.

Until then, we can only hope Apple has come up with a better way to give the iPhone that third camera, one that doesn't make it look like a game of Tetris at a five-year-old's difficulty level.
